About Us
Bank of Bennington began in February 1928 by father and son, Charles F.
Roe and Harold E. Roe. In 1971, Harold's son, Jerry E. Roe, became president
of the Bank of Bennington. Jerry's daughter, Leslie R. Andersen, succeeded
her father as president in 1994. Jerry Roe is currently serving as Chairman
of the Board of the Bank of Bennington. This eighty-three year old bank is
being managed by a member of the 4th generation of the founding family where
professional personal service and courtesy is always first.
The Bank of Bennington has grown and changed over the years, as well as the
community of Bennington and the surrounding area. Bank of Bennington offers
real estate, commercial, installment and agriculture loans, as well as
several checking, savings, certificates of deposit and IRA accounts. The
Bank of Bennington currently owns two ATM machines, located at the Bank of
Bennington Drive-thru in Bennington and Bank of Bennington Maple Branch
Drive-thru.
